The stingray is the famed fish with a poisone
d tail, famed for killing horses and cattle by stinging them to death. This fish is actually pretty tame and unobtrusive. Tankmates for this fish should be chosen with care as many species will attack the vulnerable disc.
Keep the water quality as clean and precise as possible.
A tank less then 8 feet long is not recommended for an adult.
Up to 20 inches in diameter
Sandy substrate is recommended, it needs lots of swimming space, try not to use many ornaments, they just get in the way and can harm the disc.
