#1 Each one has a story. When my Laetecara comes out, I remember the clear, beautiful stream that I caught him in.
#2 Each one has a personality. My Laetecara eagerly consumes everything, my Taeniacara candidis eagerly refuse everything. No fish is alike. You can count on some of them being the first to eat and others the first to hide.
#3 They grow so quick. This can be a problem without adequate tank space but to watch my Leiarius grow from a little baby to a 5 inch predator is awesome.
#4 They are all beautiful. Some more so than others but they all have their special snub noses or turquoise stripes.
